You read that right. I was scrapbooking with Mighty Mend It. Yes, the product you see on late night infomercials, with flags blowing in the wind and people using parachutes.
The company sent me a sample to try out for myself. It really works and dries crystal clear. For the first few days, my daughter and I were trying it on everything that needed to be repaired. From the hem on some of my favorite slacks to a rip in my husband's shirt, it worked.
Then I moved on to use it in some of my scrapbook projects. One of the Scrapbooking on the Wall projects I created over a year ago had a few pieces that were starting to fall off. I kept reattaching them with regular adhesive, but they never stayed. I'm not sure if it's the humidity in the South that was affecting them or not, but I decided to try Mighty Mend It. Since then, not a problem. Everything stays in place.
If you haven't checked it out, it's worth giving it a try. From the time and labor involved in minor repairs to clothing, to the more fun scrapbooking and craft projects, it's a handy product to have around the house!
